Ah for those blessed days when I had much time to devote to the arts.

Alas, academics pull my focus away except for the few moments I can devote to painting or drawing. Unfortunately, even these moments have been fleeting, so I do not have much to post. I have been working primarily on drawing various bones of the body as practice, but once I finish the painting I will scan it in.

I am a lemming for journal skins.

... of my sanity and artistic attempts!

I finally have my own camera: a Canon PowerShot A1000IS, so I may improve my photography skills when able! *celebrates* To crown this new development, I have uploaded a series of photos taken over the current summer as I experiment with macro and flash usage.

Sketches and drawings will follow in August when I return home to my lovely scanner. A warning ahead of time: there will be a set of freakish combined Pokemon, some looking as if they could actually exist, and some the source of nightmares. *shivers* Rob and I have decided to come up with our own set of messed up Pokemon creations, along the lines of the popular Fakemon, but meant instead to pair polar opposites and poke fun. x3
